Pimento Cheese Sandwiches
8 oz room temperature cream cheese
2 C medium or sharp cheddar, shredded
1/2 C mayonnaise
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder
1/4 t cayenne pepper
1/3 C finely diced jalepeño
1 4 oz jar of pimentos, drained
Combine all the ingredients and mix well to form a spread. Spread it on sturdy and soft white bread, cut off the crusts, and then cut on the diagonal to make small finger sandwiches.
